Project:
While at Camargo I wrote a saxophone quartet entitled Paradigm Lost for the Prism Quartet, and a piece for large orchestra for this summer's Tanglewood Contemporary Music Festival. The saxophone quartet was commissioned by Chamber Music America, is 13' long, was completed on March 6th, and received its first performance on May 20th at Symphony Space in New York City. The orchestra piece is nearly complete (only orchestrational details and copying remain), was commissioned by the Berkshire Music Center, and will receive its first performance on August 8th at Seiji Ozawa Hall in Lenox, Massachusetts. Its duration is 12'. |
