The Jerome Foundation, created by artist and philanthropist
Jerome Hill (1905-1972), makes grants to support the creation
and production of new artistic works by emerging artists, and
contributes to the professional advancement of those artists.
Minnesota
Historical Society
The Minnesota Historical Society houses an important collection
of Jerome Hill papers and photographs, which were donated
to the Society by the Jerome and Camargo Foundations.
Alliance for Artists Communities
The Camargo Foundation is a member of the Alliance for Artists Communities, a service organization for the field of artists’
communities and residencies. The Alliance gives a collective voice on behalf of its members,
small and large, that leverages support for the field as a whole; promotes successful practices
in the field; and advocates for creative environments that support the work of today’s artists.

Council of Learned Societies (ACLS)
The Camargo Foundation is a member of ACLS, which aims to advance humanistic studies and related social
sciences and to maintain and strengthen relations among national
societies devoted to such studies.

of Humanities Centers and Institutes (CHCI)
The Camargo Foundation is a member of CHCI, which serves
as a site for the discussion of issues germane to the fostering
of cross-disciplinary activity and as a network for circulating
information and sharing resources.

The Camargo Foundation is a member of Res Artis, an international association of residential
arts centers.
